Valley Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Ltd. was established in 1974 by Peter and George Watson in Jacksonville, New Brunswick. Primarily focusing on service work and the grocery store industry, the Watson brothers soon added more men and trucks to their tiny fleet. Using their skills and good-old fashioned hard-work, these men established one of the largest privately-owned refrigeration companies in Atlantic Canada.

Valley Refrigeration was purchased by William and Ed Barrett in 2014 from the Watson brothers. The Barrett's have installed a new vision for the company and bring with them a vast amount of management experience over a variety of industries. It is now the goal for Valley Refrigeration to become the largest and absolute best refrigeration and HVAC Company in Atlantic Canada, bar none.
